Create your own app with Appygen
If you are looking for a online platform to create your own app then let me tell you Appygen is for you. It's one of the easiest and finest way to create online android applications. Here I am going to explore how can you create your own first android application with Appygen. But before you want to follow my below steps I recommend you to read my previous posts related to Appygen. After understanding about the basic and features of Appygen you can follow my these steps to create your own app :-
1. Create or login account -- Just visit Appygen.net and register your account or if you already have an account on Appygen then simply login into it. There you will be redirected to your Dashboard.
2. Top menu bar -- At the top of your dashboard you will a menu bar , which will include options like ; Dashboard , Apps , Academy , Tools , Referral Program and Forum. Out of these you need to click on " Apps" . Then there you can click on "Create a new app " .
3. Choosing a Template for your App :-- In this step you need to choose a template for your android application. It will allow you to choose templates from Popular Templates , Free Templates and Premium Templates . So choose a template wisely according to your interest of application.
4. Name and Logo -- After choosing the desired template you will be redirected to another page where you have to fill some details of your app ; Name of your application , Version of your application , Package Name and App Icon ( 192x192 px PNG or JPG file) then click on next.
5. App Interface -- Here on this page you can adjust the interface of your application. You can choose the Primary Color , Dark Primary Color , Accent Color , Background Color , Text Color and Secondary Text Color. Then Click on "Submit" . And you will be redirected back to your Dashboard.
6. Adding Content to App -- In this step your can add content to your application. For this simply click on "Content" option there you will get another two option "Add/Edit Content " , "Import Content " . So click on Add/Edit Content . For example if you are creating wallpaper paper app then it will give you some demo content to try your app and below this you will get an option to add your own images. There you need to enter/paste the URL of your image you want to add to your application. Then click on Add to gallery.
7. Advertisement Settings -- Appygen not only allow you to create your own app for free even it will allow you to earn money through advertisements. Appygen allow users to add Admob Banner Codes and Interstitial Ads in applications , so that Appygen users can earn some good ammount of money with Admob. ( Just simple copy - paste Adunit Code of Admob) .
8. Export APK in Appygen -- If you feel everything is done in your app the just go back to the Dashboard of your Appygen and click on " Export APK " it will take some minutes to generate your APK file. Then it will show you APK Ready so just click on it download it and try your first app you created on Appygen .
9. Editing in Appygen -- if you are not satisfied with your app on Appygen or you want to change something or want to add more content . Then just go back to the dashboard of your Appygen and change the things you want to change.
10. Settings in Appygen -- There is one very useful option on the dashboard of Appygen "Settings" if you will click on it then you can veridv your app as a published app , Edit app settings , App Menu , Push Notifications , and Delete App. These are very useful features in Appygen.
