CREATE OWN APP WITH HTML FILE IN THUNKABLE
In this post I am going to tell you again about how to create your own app without using proper coding. Yes it's very easy to it. In this post my main focus is on how can you create your own app by using any Html file.
This is possible by using Thunkable, is you don't know what is this Thunkable then checkout my previous post in which I explained about Thunkable ; why should use , how to use and features of Thunkable. Before you start it's important to understand all things and to know why you should use it. So for this reason I recommend you to check my previous written post.
Now coming to the point of this post "Using HTML FILE in Thunkable" or "How to create any HTML FILE to create an application in Thunkable".
Let me tell first thing you need to have an HTML FILE what you want include in your application. For example if you have any HTML game or script , then save the file of your game or any script on your PC in HTML format.
Then next is go to Thunkable and login with your Google account , then click on create an app and give desired name to your application. After this you can start creating your app where you can go in layout option and can use horizontal arrangements or vertical arrangements and can adjust their size etc. You can include some items whatever you want to use in your app for example Image or Button simply by using drag and drop method.
Then the most important item what you need to include in your app in order to run your HTML FILE is Web Viewer . So click on User Interface and their at the bottom you can see Web Viewer item then again simply drag and drop it in your app. And you can manage its height and width under Properties option on the right hand side tool bar. Here same in Properties option you will look "Home URL" option which very important part of the application but right now just leave empty and click on the green button named "Upload File" there you can select your HTML FILE what you want to include in your app and click on OK. Remember you can upload more 1 HTML FILES also. Then go the Home URL option and type "file:///mnt/sdcard/AppInventor/assets/hello.html" or copy this link and paste in your app just keep in mind you need to change in this link only hello.html to the name of your uploaded HTML FILE . Other than keep the whole link same just change hello.html according to the file what you uploaded.
Then here on the left tool bar side at the bottom you will look an option "Extensions" click on it and you need to upload here Tiafun Extension what you can download from Puravidaapps it's free to download and to use. Upload it in your app and then drag and drop in your app.
Then next step is go to Blocks option ;

Then next step is go to Blocks option ;
You need to only create these blocks. To create these blocks first click on Screen 1 in the left hand side tool bar here you can find out "When Screen 1 Initialize" so drag it into your blocks , second click on "Web_Viewer" there click on "Call Web_Viewer go to URL " . Then third step click on Variables here select "Join" variable as shown in the above pic. Fourth click on Taifun Extension here select "Call Taifun Tools1 PathToAssets ". Then in fifth step click on " Text " in the tool bar and select empty text box just with " " where you can add the name of your HTML FILE as I indicated in the above pic.
